Gridcore Townsville Team
Our Electrics and Drilling team has many years of combined experience in the electrical power industry in Townsville and North Queensland. Shelton Murray, the owner/operator, is a North Queenslander, based locally in Townsville but hailing from Weipa.
A highly qualified Electrician, Shelton has over 15 years’ experience working in the electrical supply industry for one of Australia’s largest electricity utilities. Qualifications have been attained as an Electrical Linesperson, also achieving an Advanced Diploma of Applied Electrical Engineering (Power Industry).
The experience he brings to Gridcore includes an in-depth knowledge of the Energy industry’s electrical earthing requirements and earthing solutions.

Our workshop facilities are based in Townsville, giving us quick and easy access to North Queensland locations, including west of Townsville or south towards Proserpine and Central Queensland. We are experienced with setting up our support teams and drilling fleet within areas that require just a day or two of notice.
